Drummers are some of the most opinionated musicians in the world--and rarely to they agree with each other about the fundamentals. But when our team at D’Addario did a test run of our new Evans UV1 drumheads, the opinions were shockingly, overwhelmingly aligned that they were the best they’d ever played. With this simple insight in mind, we launched a social and print campaign designed to do a little gentle trolling; throwing our most controversial drum opinions out to the pack and watching them rip everyone else’s POV to shreds. As a result, we made a convincing argument for just how good these new heads actually were.
